Hellifield Peel Castle is a luxurious boutique B&B set in the Yorkshire Dales. Offering unique guest accommodation to both leisure and business travellers, Hellifield Peel Castle hired Out of the Blue to upgrade their online presence with a new website and spread awareness of their brand to the target audience.
Having appeared on Channel 4's Grand Designs with Kevin McCloud during the castle renovation in 2005, Francis and Karen's brief was to create a cutting edge website that reflected the standard of accommodation on offer and appealed to the target market.
Out of the Blue began by creating a striking new contemporary corporate identity. Designed in a heritage colour palette, The 'H' and the 'P' characters of Hellifield Peel are intertwined into an antique monogram and topped with the castles shield. Finished with a script typeface we wanted the branding to look authentic as if it had been in place on site for many years.
When you are selling a dream destination, it helps to paint a picture of it for your potential customers, so Out of the Blue suggested a complete set of new photographs of Hellifield Peel Castle, including lots of close-ups and aspirational images to capture the superbly photogenic building and its stunning interior.

The website has been designed with a secure booking area where prospective customers can log in to check availablity and book online and is optimised for search engines so that Hellifield Peel Castle is easily found by potential new customers. The new website was visited by over 20,000 people in the first month of its launch and resulted in a substantial increase in awareness and online bookings.
Once the website was launched, using our media contacts we were able to secure Hellifield Peel Castle a 12 page feature in The Norths largest interior design magazine 'Concept for Living' - thus raising their profile and reaching a new audience.
